I am old enough to remember when Democrats and Republicans actually worked together to solve issues, and coming from New York, I remember when there were 5 or 6 different political parties on the ballot in most elections. Around the time of Jimmy Carter, we saw a change in how politicians worked. It became a very Partisan race to get elected, no longer did we hear argument regarding issues, we started to hear muckraking, and sometimes even hatred between sides.
In High School we had partisanship, we went to baseball, football and basketball games and rooted our hearts out for our team. After the game we all went to the hamburger place for dinner, and had a great time with both our team and the opposing team members and fans. Today, after the game might see a riot break out and people actually get injured in the melee. It is even worse in professional sports, fans go to the opposing team stadium to root for their team, and might get beat up during or after the game, because of the hatred they each have for the other team.
I have been in jury trials, where the two lawyers worked hard for their client, and argued for their positions whatever the trial might be about, both lawyers argued and fought for their respective client, sometimes with real passion in their voice and manner. The reality is, lawyers, fight for the person paying them. You might see the two lawyers fight one time on one side of an issue and a month later on the other side and just as passionate on both sides of the issue. Money talks, and they have billable hours to fill with that money.
Notice that most of the denizens of the Washington D. C. House and Senate are lawyers, remember that money talks and lawyers listen and do what the money is telling them to do. Someone on one of the News shows once said that a good politician never lets a crisis go to waste. This is true, not only for the politicians but also for their partisans on the talk shows, news shows, and newspapers as well. If you want to know what is the latest crisis just watch the news, listen to talk, and read the papers. For Republicans it is the Washington Times, Fox News, Rush Limbaugh. For the Democrats it is Washington Post, New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, Huffington Post and others. Each hypes the crisis du jour, with of course their side of the story.
It has been said that there are 3 sides to every story, your side, my side and the truth. We tend to listen only to what we want to hear, and ignore the rest. I know that I have become tired of shows that have opposing sides on at the same time, and whichever side you are on then the show that you are watching will invariabley shut down the opposing view. This is true on left and right leaning shows. From Shaun Hannity to Bill Maher, the opposing side is to be made to look foolish.
Congress is the pinacle of this problem, we have gone from compromise to solve issues to hatred and inability to get much of anything accomplished. Listen to the rhetoric, especially in the House of Representatives. You have people writing bills of impeachment against the President, not for any crimes but for tweets that they found offensive to their side. Rhetoric from this or that politician talking about the President as if he was the biggest criminal in the world, meanwhile ignoring real issues, just trying to score political points so they can get re-elected. I was really struck by this hatred when Gen. Kelly White House Cheif of Staff, came to the press breifing this past week and talked about the attacks on the President and his phone call to parents or spouses of the 4 soldiers who were killed in Nigeria. One Congressperson claimed to have heard the President say something that she felt was insenstive to the parents of one of the soldiers.
Let me pause for a moment, she was not in the oval office, how did she hear this conversation? That has not been brought up in the ensuing CRISIS that has ensued for the statements she made in regard to this conversation. How did she hear this conversation? Anyway, this whole thing served to sweep away all the other news of this week, this should not have gotten in the way of honest reporting on what is happening in Congress, that is the passing of the budget in the House and Senate, which allows now for other bills to come up, such as tax reform. However, as long as these Professional Politicians can keep the crisis going, we the people will continue with hyper-partisanship and will attack our opponents. This hatred that has been brewing for many years now, has finally reached a point where we no longer talk to one another but rather we attack one another, not hearing what each has to say.
This hyper-partisanship is destroying our nation, we no longer speak with one another civilly, we rather attack one another. Look at the Governor of Florida, declaring a state of emergency because a man was coming to speak to people who wanted to hear him. The Governor was afraid that there would be rioting and mayhem because this man was what has been described as a white nationalist or white supremacist. The problem is simply that because people today do not want to listen to the opposition, we have riots in the streets. Now I don’t agree with what the man espouses, but in our nation he has a right to speak, and his supporters have the right to listen to him. If you don’t agree and don’t want to hear him, don’t go to that venue.
I have to admit watching the last couple of years when a conservative was going to speak at a university, people would show up in masks so you could not see who they were, and would set fires and beat up anyone who came to hear that person, breaking windows and just generally acting like the brownshirts in the 1930’s in Germany. We have the group Antifa, which claims to be anti-facists, yet they act like facists, wearing black, masked faces and showing up with baseball bats, balloons filled with urine, mace and other terrible things. They beat people with these weapons, hit them with their balloons and mace both civilians and Police officers. Those are definite facist tactics.
So what is to happen here in the USA? Do we continue down this road, with Professional Politicians manufacturing crisis after crisis just to keep us riled up, or do we work to change what we see happening? I believe it is time for us to work to change the system, electing people who are constitutionalists, who believe in our Constitution and are willing to work within its confines. We need people to stand for the rule of law, and to stand for the right of the people to live their lives peacefully. We need to rid our State Houses and our Federal Houses of these career politicians and put in place Term Limits for all politicians. This will also rid us of the monetary corruption, it doesn’t pay to buy a politician who will only be there a short time and then a new face will take his or her place. It is I believe time for Term Limits after all, Congress limited the President to 2 terms, because the knew it was not good for the executive to continue longer in office. FDR served too long and had begun to take more and more power to himself and the Federal Government.
What do you think, do we really need this partisanship to continue until we are so isolated from one another that our country will not be able to defend itself from enemies without or within. If we continue down this path, I do believe that Civil War will again spring forth and our country will be torn asunder, it will end in a blood bath the like of which we have never seen, because it will be between factions, black, hispanic, asian, white and whatever other faction these politicians can break us into, just so they can stay in office.

Looking at the House and Senate, it seems to me that the Swamp includes a number of ancient creatures who have been there for longer than most of us can remember. John Conyers Democrat, almost 53 years, he came into office before the Vietnam war realy took off, he started 1964. Thad Cochran Republican House and Senate almost 45 years and his fellow Republican in the House, also almost 45 years Don Young, these two have been in office since 1972. I have to wonder why they keep getting elected to the House and Senate, when they don’t seem to be able to accomplish anything.
Orrin Hatch, Republican almost 41 years, he of course along with his fellow Republicans in the Senate could not muster enough votes to rid us of Obama Care, wonder how they will do with Tax Reform. House and Senate combined Ed Markey Democrat, 41 years. If these are your representatives or senators, don’t you think it might be a good idea to put someone in office who might have some fresh ideas. These guys have been there so long they ave put down roots in the Swamp.
Professional politicians, they think that they are entitled to their seat in the government. They tell you one thing, and then vote another way, and come back during their multiple vacations, sorry, town hall meetings to get the pulse of their constitutents, when they really don’t even know who you are anymore. They live in mansions, they go to parties and hobnob with the “high and mighty”, they are wined and dined by lobbyists and they have become blind to what goes on in their home states. Mary Landrieu from Louisiana actually didn’t have a home in her district, she had a mansion in the D.C. area. Actually I think it was in Georgetown, along with the rest of the rich people. Your Senators and Congress persons, make more money for less work than 90 % of the population.
Jim Sensenbrenner, Republican, 38 years in the Senate, Richard Shelby, Democrat then Republican 38 years House and Senate. I could go on with this but I hope you are getting the point, The men and women who work for you and I, I would call this a joke but I’m not laughing, they set their own salaries and perks, they even get to insider trade legally.
The exempt themselves from the laws that you and I have to live under. It is high time we started a revolution, a peaceful one but one that will end this Professional Politician. It is time for Term LIMITS. Now the SCOTUS in cahoots with their buddies in the House and Senate, said that the Constitution set the parameters and States were not able to set the limits on their time in office. There is a way to take care of this however, our Constitution has a remedy. The States can begin a Constitutional Amendment process and each State passes the exact same bill limiting the amount of time each of the offices can be filled by the same person.
These people work for us, they are not our rulers, they serve only as long as we the people allow them to do so. Notice I said the SERVE, not rule! We need people who have read and understand our Constitution, who are willing to work under that Constitution, and return us to the Constitutional Republic that we were originally formed to be. The American dream is only as good as the people who understand it and work under it, those who have no clue about that document, are doomed to continue down the path of servitude without even realizing that they are serving the rulers.

The Constitution Party of Texas is working to bring our government back into the hands of the people. Our nation was founded on the principle that the government is of, by and for the people. We do not have a King, Emperor or other form of dictatorship, our legislature is not made up of Lords and Ladies as is the House of Lords in England. Instead it is made up of people who are supposed to be citizen legislators.
In other words, the Senators and Representatives in Washington D. C. are not above us. They should know they are responsible to the constituents who voted them in to office. Instead today we have professional politicians who think they are entitled to the perks of the office they hold, until such time as they die in office or decide to retire. Some of these people have been in office for 40, 50 or more years.
This is a part of our party platform: “The Constitution Party seeks the restoration of an electoral process which is controlled at the state and local levels and is beyond manipulation by federal judges and bureaucrats. The federal government has unconstitutionally and unwisely preempted control in matters of district boundaries,
electoral procedures, and campaign activities.
The Voting Rights Act should be repealed. The Federal Election Campaign Act, including its 1974 amendments, and the Federal Election Commission should be abolished.
Each citizen should have the right to seek public office in accordance with the qualifications set forth in the federal and state constitutions. Additional
restrictions and obligations governing candidate eligibility and campaign procedures unconstitutionally burden the fairness and accountability of our political system.
We urge an end to electronic or mechanical voting processes, and urge a return to the manual counting process overseen by, and accountable to, voters
resident in each precinct where the votes are cast.”
Our Republican and Democrat politicians do not want this to happen. It might mean they will have to actually work for the people who elect them to office. As many of you probably understand, once a politician is elected to office, he/she immediately begins working toward getting re-elected to that office. They raise money and ignore their duty to the people who voted them in to office. It is high time we had some real representation in the U. S. Congress, instead of lip service politicians who will tell you what you want to hear and then go back to working on their next election cycle.
As you think about the next election, and realize that your congressperson has not worked in your best interest, come and visit us, we are The Constitution Party and we need your help to set things right again in this nation in which we live.
As I watched the unfolding of the drama this week in the House of Representatives, I saw a scene that made me ill. I watched as the Republicans in the House folded their losing hand and instead of working to fix it, they gave up. Of course I was sure that this group of do nothing congresspersons, led by the coward Ryan, would do what they did instead of standing up as real representatives of those who elected them to office.
It really appears that all their words are lies, they really did not want to end the prison that Obama and the Democrats have placed the American people in, they just want to be sure they can keep the power they have. Let us tell them that they have NO POWER, because we can elect people to office who will actually act on our behalf. We know it is not the Demopublicans neither of these parties will stand for us, they will stand only for their own power.
I wonder how many people in this country notice that all of these people who are politicians are getting rich off of our backs, they raise their own pay every couple of years, they live in mansions in D. C. and send their kids to private schools, but will not allow us to have the choice to do as they do. Yet we keep voting in the same people to office, and we keep getting the same results no matter which party is in charge.
I was not a supporter of Donald Trump, but I have to admit, I do see in him someone who will at least work for you and I, while the career politicians will work only to fatten their own wallets at our expense. I see the same stuff in my State, Texas has a very strong Republican presence in the State Capital, yet the Senate passes bills that call for real reform in Ethics, including calling on the politicians to be held to higher standards. The House which is solidly Republican, will not pass any bills that Republican Conservatives want to have passed. You see the Speaker of the House says he is Republican and campaigns as a conservative in San Antonio raking in tons of money to insure his winning back his seat, and staying as Speaker. The problem is this man is a RINO a Republican in name only. He actually appoints Democrats to committee chairs, bills that come from the Senate that call for reform, die in committee or get watered down with amendments which actually change the bill to something different than when it came from the Senate.
The bill of course is killed in the senate when it is sent back for agreement with what the Democrats and liberal Republicans in the house made it over to be.
So, we have a government that is controlled by Republicans but they cannot do the right things because they are RINO’s. Whether it is Texas or Washington D. C. it is the same problem. It is time for a third party, one that will adhere to the Constitution of the United States. It is time to repeal all the garbage that is costing our nation its freedom, it is time to rein in the “intelligence” community, because they are no longer interested in trying to protect our nation, they only want to protect their own little fiefdoms, so they spy on their own citizens.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, two people who personify politics as usual. Clinton has been in politics for about 40 years, Trump has been also involved in buying and selling politicians for his own gain. He is a “dealmaker” same as a politician. Please note that now that he is the presumptive nominee for the Republican side of the house, his tune is changing.
Well I have left Republican and Democrat parties because neither of them stand for anything other than gimme money and power for me and then we can continue to lie to the American people about who we are.
I have found a party that actually stands for the Constitution and the very first principal they have is Sanctity of Life! The Constitution Party has President and Vice President candidates, of course you don’t hear about them as the Media is in the pockets of the ruling class. Their platform stands for we the people as spelled out in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. It is time we rid ourselves of our elites or political royalty and get back to citizen legislators and Presidents. What we have now is people who think they are better and smarter than the rest of us. We need people in office who understand the reality of our Constitutional Republic. We are not a democracy, that was Greece and it died because of the chaos of that form of governing. We are a Republic, and it is why we have lasted over 200 years and will continue to do so if we can get back to our roots. This country was formed with Judeo-Christian principles, we were not formed as a Christian nation, but rather a nation that believed in the ideas propagated by the scriptures and writings of the ancient Fathers of Judaism and Christianity, as well as people such as John Locke.
We have strayed way too far from the ideals of this nation, and we are now on a path to destruction. We have WAY too many entanglements with outside interests, it is time for our nation to rethink our policies, not to be isolationist, but to look at our entanglements with other nations and then begin to untangle and, stand for freedom, and equality of persons.
The Declaration of Independence states the case quite well.”We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” We have strayed far from these truths, and we are losing our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as the Federal Government takes over more and more of our lives. When the Federal Government tells us what we can and cannot feed our children, when they have taken away our ability to choose what kind of school lunch we have for our children, that is getting into our business at an unprecedented level. They have taken away our parental right to take care of our own children. It is high time we take back our nation from these elitists in Washington D. C. and begin again to govern ourselves and tell the elites to pack up and go away.

Al Gore wrote a book called “Inconvenient Truth” of course it was full of lies, but the title is what is important. It is inconvenient truth that both Republicans and Democrats don’t like and will attack viciously at every opportunity. So The Donald is now a racist because he spoke the truth about our border and those that are crossing it at will. Homeland inSecurity does not protect the border because Obama has told them to leave these folks alone. Illegal is crime, that is what these people are, Criminals. The Mexican government is one where they catch you crossing their border, you go to prison, period.
When will we in this nation wake up and realize what the PC crowd in DC are doing to this country. Make no mistake the PC crowd is in both parties, they love the status quo and don’t want it changed. The leadership in both parties will do everything in their power to maintain control, and keep their power and money. The problem is our American people are so enamored of these clowns that they re-elect them over and over, witness McConnell and Boehner, neither of them should be in office and yet their districts/states continue to send them to destroy more and more of our freedoms. I once thought that I would never vote for a Democrat because they were the Communists in our government, now I realize that both Republicans and Democrats are Fascists who care only for themselves and not one whit for we the people.
Personally, I will vote only for Constitution party candidates, until they start thinking they too are better than the rest of us. GET RID OF PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS they are the bane of our society. They want only to please the perverts and criminals in our nation. VOTE them out of office and bring in real people who will vote for term limits. It is high time we the people took back our government, it is in our Constitution that it is a government of, by and for the people, not professional political hacks.

The Donald's trump card on illegal aliens is the truth.
I just saw an interview between Megan Kelly and the Pentagon Spokesman (an Admiral) and heard her more than once try to get him to say we are at war with Radical Islam. He refused, even though the State Department has named the Taliban as a Terrorist Group, the Pentagon now says they are an Armed Insurgency, and therefore they negotiated with them to get back the (alleged) Deserter Bergdahl. Of course it is OK to negotiate with armed insurgents, even those who practice terror tactics against our own soldiers, since they are not really Terrorists.
That should tell us all we need to know about who is now running the Pentagon, it is not soldiers it is panty waist politicians. I thought we learned our lesson about letting politics get in the way of fighting war, Vietnam taught us that lesson, but here we are again, letting politicians run our war efforts. Cowards like Kerry and our President who want to appease the enemies of our nation are the ones who are really running the Pentagon these days. We have now lost the war in Afghanistan, just as we lost in Iraq and now also in Cuba. These people have said they want to transform our country, they are succeeding and we the sheeple seem perfectly willing to let them destroy the greatest nation that has ever come to be on this planet. They treat our only ally in the Middle East like they don’t matter, while kissing up to the Islamists in Saudi Arabia. They claim to be harming ISIL when that group of terrorists are now taking over in Lebanon, Syria and will soon take Baghdad if we don’t stop them.
We must stop being gullible, stop allowing this government to destroy our nation, tearing up our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Our own elected representatives are allowing these people to destroy our country, because it is easier to get the money from their cronies, than it is to get some backbone and stand up to fight against this horror. Professional politicians are the ones who are killing our troops, because they have become the real enemy of our country.

Well now that the Supreme Oligarchy has decreed that Marriage is open to anyone who wants to get married. What perversion is next? I note that Polygamists are now looking for marriage equality, will bestiality be far behind? Why not incest, mothers and sons, fathers and daughters or perhaps even homosexual incest, mother with daughter, father with son. This whole slide into immorality is history repeating itself, Rome became a hot bed of incest, homosexuality and bestiality and became weaker and weaker until finally it could no longer defend itself against the Goths, and Visigoths.
We are rapidly sliding into debauchery of the worst kind, and our government seems hell-bent on weakening our military ability, and disarming our citizenry so that we will have no defenses against enemies, foreign or domestic. If we continue on the path we are on, dictatorship will be our new reality. We no longer have our privacy, our Christian roots are being attacked at every turn, we are no longer safe in our person as the 4th Amendment to the Constitution guarantees us. The Federal Government is telling us what kind of health care we are allowed to have, and if we don’t have it the Gestapo IRS will come down on us like a ton of bricks, taxing us into oblivion. We need to stand up and say NO! Soon, it will be too late to do anything because our rights will have been eroded to the point we will not have any rights to stand for.
Republicans and Democrats alike are responsible for what is going on, the worst thing that has happened is Professional Politicians. They make money on our backs, they stay in office for a lifetime and the more power they have the more they want. The richest counties in this country are all in the Washington DC area, and yet we sheeple keep sending the same people back to DC to continue fleecing us.
Wake up America, before it is too late!!!!!
