Lives that matter

Gen 1:26-28 NKJV  Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”  (27)  So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  (28)  Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

For those of us who are God fearing, who believe that God has created all that is and that includes human life on this planet upon which we all live, it is imperative that we state emphatically that ALL LIVES MATTER, black, brown, white. It matters not what your color, where you came from or more importantly how you live your life. What does matter is that we are all related to one another, we all came from one beginning.

Gen 11:6-8 NKJV  And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.  (7)  Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”  (8)  So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city.

This is an interesting story, mankind was settled in one place and decided to build a tower to reach into heaven so they would be like God, the original sin was that Adam and his wife, later called Eve, would be like God if they ate the fruit. Here again mankind wants to be like God. Mankind finds itself unable to understand each other any more, and God splits them into language groups and places each group into its own place. Over time the men and women of the different groups change to what we see today, people who came from southern climbs, have darker skin, those from Asia seem to have sallow appearing skin and then of course we have those from the middle lands, Europeans who have white appearing skin. One thing we all have in common, we are ALL human beings, we are ALL mankind, men and women ALL are part of the human experience, we are not different beings, we are ALL mankind.

Yet here we are in our modern day, trying to make out that one group is superior to all the others. BLACK LIVES MATTER. This is the slogan, and if you try to say that, any life matters, not only Black but all lives matter, you find yourself being shouted down, and in some cases actually injured. This is not the nation that I grew up in, I can state that with all sincerity. We had our differences, and over time we had worked much of that out, and were working to try to collectively, realize the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., he realized that we as a nation and as a people were trying to work through the stains in our society. We as honest Christian men and women were working to look at each other not as Black, White, Brown or Yellow, but as American men and women.

Did we have faults? Yes we did, but more and more we were working to end that scourge of racist hatred. The Margaret Sanger’s of this world want us to practice euthanasia, kill babies of those who are, supposedly, inferior so that they will not spread their inferiority to others. That is where Hitler got his ideas about killing of inferiors so that the master race would be the only one left. Thank God we ended that scourge of hatred, but of course we still had those hatreds in our own nation too. In the world I grew up in we were still working to rid ourselves of that horror, then came hatred rearing its ugly head. First the assassination of John F Kennedy, then Dr. King, then Bobby Kennedy. What a horrific time that was, we mourned each of these deaths together, but there were those who rioted in many cities, businesses and homes were burned and people were killed. Finally, we came to our senses and it all stopped, and for those of us in our collective groups, we worked at being good neighbors.

Then came 9/11 and the destruction of the twin towers, the death of the passengers of that plane in the field in Pennsylvania, and the destruction at the Pentagon by another plane. We all came together again in our grief and anger at what had happened. It was short lived and we went back to our lives and well we realized that our lives had changed. We were no longer as free as we had been. Much had changed in our society, the government had become Big Brother, spying on people and interfering in our lives to a degree new to our way of life. Let me now bring us to today, with chaos in our cities and of course Covid the gift of China to the world.

This will be a much longer quote from the Bible: Mat 24:3-14 NKJV  Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”  (4)  And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.  (5)  For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.  (6)  And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  (7)  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.  (8)  All these are the beginning of sorrows.  (9)  “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.  (10)  And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.  (11)  Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.  (12)  And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.  (13)  But he who endures to the end shall be saved.  (14)  And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Wars: There are 10 official wars and 8 active military conflicts recognized by the United States. There are also other violent conflicts involving 64 countries and 576 militias and separatist groups. This information comes from: https://www.reference.com/world-view/many-wars-going-world-right-now-ffd6236450ccb7ae this is only wars, there is much famine in our world right now as well: Yemen, DR Congo, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Syria, Sudan, Northern Nigeria and Haiti are all facing famine of greater or lessor degrees. This list is in order of the number of people who will be affected by this shortage of food.

Today in many parts of the world Christians are facing death because of their faith. China has been removing crosses from Churches and putting in their place pictures of Xi and demanding that they worship the CCP and Xi as its head. Christians who refuse will find themselves in retraining camps.

In many other countries Pastors and Christians are being killed and their entire villages are leveled and / or burned to the ground. So here is the truth about persecution worldwide today: Every day, 8 Christians worldwide are killed because of their faith. Every week, 182 churches or Christian buildings are attacked. And every month, 309 Christians are imprisoned unjustly. So reports the 2020 World Watch List (WWL), the latest annual accounting from Open Doors of the top 50 countries where Christians are the most persecuted for their faith.

“We cannot let this stand,” said David Curry, president and CEO of Open Doors USA, during the 2020 list’s unveiling in Washington, DC, this morning. “People are speaking out and we have an obligation to hear their cry.” The listed nations comprise 260 million Christians suffering high to severe levels of persecution, up from 245 million in last year’s list.

Of course we cannot forget the chaos in our own streets, the hatred of these marxist groups for our nation is now destroying cities across the nation. Of course Chicago has been home to much of this for many years, but, others have not. Oregon, and Washington States have not experienced this sort of violence until now. the marxist thugs want to destroy our history and rewrite it. One of the things that is particularly troubling is the 1619 project which is attempting to rewrite the history of our nation to say that it began with slavery in 1619 not in 1776 with freedom. It is an attempt to set us on a course of race war in our nation. We have been working since the beginning of our nation to bring freedom to all people in this nation. We are not perfect, but we are working toward perfection, and the end of racial hatred. My pain in this is that hatred and war will continue until our nation is destroyed and our hope for true partnership between all people in this nation will be lost to the marxist thugs who are working to destroy us, with the help of the demoncrat party. I do mean demoncrat simply because I see the members of that party moving into absolute hatred for any freedom loving people. These are people who want absolute power over our very lives.

This is just the beginning, there is more to come, Satan is alive and well and causing Chaos throughout our world. The only thing that holds this horror back right now is the the Spirit of God is still alive and well and living in Christians all across this world. Yes many are being killed and tortured for their faith. However we as Christians know that Satan cannot win, and that he and his evil will be completely destroyed and we will live forever with our Savior and Lord, Jesus the Christ, the second person of the God head, the human Face of God. I say all this because I want to see many thousands more people in this world become a part of our Christian family. It will mean eternity in the presence of God, instead of in the Lake of Fire (Hell).

Contact me, or any other believer that you may know, and we will be glad to help you to understand that God indeed loves you and wants you to be a part of the Kingdom of Heaven. The choice is yours, God will not force you to become a part of the Kingdom. You can only become a part by your own voluntary request, the alternative, is your voluntary membership in the kingdom of Hell and eternity in the lake of fire.

It is always your choice, please choose wisely, learn of the Kingdom of God or choose not to and be a part of the kingdom of death with Satan.

In this world in which we live, we find ourselves in a new and horrible world. A place where you can be killed just walking down the street, a world where you are supposed to feel you should apologize for things you did not do, nor had any control over. It seems like just being a certain color you are an enemy of all other people on the planet. Yet, you have never done anything to deliberately hurt another person. This is a world in which it seems we are unable to communicate, because we do not have a common starting place to communicate from, nor do those who are yelling about being discriminated against, listen to anything except your surrender.

In the 50’s we were all friends, black, white, brown it made no difference, our biggest concern was could you throw a football, or make a clean tackle. Of course there was also baseball, could you pitch, catch, hit whatever. We played together and had a pretty good team too. When later in life I became a Pastor and began to preach and teach, we had mixed congregations and we realized that we were brothers and sisters in Christ. We loved each other.

That is the world that I grew up in and now at 75 years of age, I find myself in a world that is all topsy turvey. Hatred seems to be the name of the game, and destruction of our history, one that has its dark spots, but we learn from what was bad as well as what was good. If we do not learn from our history, we will continue to do those things that caused black spots on our nation. We must learn from our failures so we don’t repeat them, and learn from our good times so we do repeat them, and maybe even improve upon them. We need each other, I hear your voices saying that black lives matter, and I agree, but all lives matter, all lives are important. Yet we live in a world where some lives are inconvenient, so abortion has killed almost 65 million, innocent human beings. Babies, who had no way to defend themselves, and so they were murdered on the altar of “CHOICE”. History repeats itself, babies were once sacrificed to a god called Moloch so that life would be better for those who rid themselves of that child.

History repeats itself, in the 1930’s in Germany they blamed the Jews for what was wrong in their country, they managed to kill 6 million innocent people, plus Christians, gypsies, deaf, blind and other undesirables. Just to purify the Master Race. Today we are killing people in this country, burning down entire city blocks, killing Police saying they are the problem, looting businesses too. Yet they say that black lives matter, except when that black person is a cop, or a conservative. We are repeating history, we are tearing our country apart, we are separating people by ethnicity, and by religion, and by conservative or liberal, communist or capitalist, it is a war where no one truly wins.

In the beginning God, it was God who created men and women, it was God who gave us a beautiful world in which to live and procreate, to plant crops to live together in peace and harmony, knowing that God was present in all we were engaged in. Then sin entered the world, and we have been fighting with each other for land, for minerals, for oil. Of course just plain hatred for one group or another. Now we are at loggerheads, we find that there are so many wars going on we can’t even count them. Our President wants to bring the troops home, the Democrats want to keep the war going, just because they hate the President and will not allow him to do his job. He held up a Bible in front of a burnt out church, and was vilified by the socialist mob.

If this keeps going the way it seems to be headed, we are going to be involved in an all out war for the soul of this nation. Many people will be killed, land and property will be destroyed and our nation will no longer exist. WE are no longer the United States of America, we have on the West Coast, the Socialist Republic of California, and the Socialist Republic of Washington. In the East Washington DC is becoming a Socialist Republic where the mayor of the city took over rule and threw out the troops that had been keeping some semblance of order. Then there is the Socialist Republic of New York, the Socialist Republic of New Jersey and it appears that Massachusetts is working on becoming the next Socialist Republic.

Then we have the “deplorables” according to HRC. Of which I am proud to be one. I truly believe that we in the more conservative parts of the country, are trying to live our lives as God fearing regular folks. I firmly believe that God is getting downright tired of sexual immorality, of murder of babies, and of those who have turned their lives over to Satan, who are actually preaching that there is no God, that it is all a myth and you can live you life as you please. So we have homosexual marriage, we have boys who were sexually abused as boy scouts, we have people who do not know what they are, boy or girl, then there are the neuters who are neither.

The title of this post is God will not be mocked. This comes from the letter to the church in Galatia: “Gal 6:7-8 NKJV  Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.  (8)  For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” This nation has been making a mockery of God and of His law, we have become a nation of harlotry, and I believe that God is coming close to the end of his patience with our nation. I call on our Churches who have abandoned the truth for the lie of easy living and on the people who are also living the lie that Satan has set out to bring to fruition for the destruction of the Jewish & Christian faiths. Repent brethren, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Hatred against Christians

It seems that the Democrat Party really hates Christians because they take every opportunity to rid our society of all references to Christ, the Cross, and of course our belief in the sanctity of life. In the book of Matthew, there is a conversation between Jesus and a Pharisee.

Mat 22:36-40 ESV  “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”  (37)  And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  (38)  This is the great and first commandment.  (39)  And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.  (40)  On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Now Jesus has just said something that I think a lot of the people in the Democrat Party have forgotten, I say this because I do not see a whole lot of love between them and those of us who are citizens of this nation. What has transpired this past couple of weeks has been nothing short of horrifying. Insane people taking innocent lives with unspeakable violence. that goes without saying a terrible act. What followed, however, was even worse simply because the Democrat Party especially those running for President blamed the President of the United States for the violence. Some even went so far as to say he was directly responsible, as if, he had ordered the death of all those people.

This President has worked to be the President of all the people, not just some of them. He has also acted in ways that work to preserve the reality of the Republic. Sanctity of life, love of country, reverence for the Constitution. He has worked to change laws where he could and to mitigate wrongs, such as a life sentence for a minor drug conviction. Yet we hear from the Democrat Party, that he hates blacks, Hispanics, women, and Muslims. Yet he has not acted in any way against any of these groups. Yes, he has limited immigration from certain countries, yet those countries don’t have any way to tell you who is or is not one of their citizens. He has tried to block terrorists from using the chaos in the middle east to gain entry into our nation.

As for as being against blacks, women or any other group, where is the evidence of that? Each of the groups in our nation now have full employment and are enjoying the fruits of their labors. As for Muslims, I have not seen any animosity by this President against this group, I have seen him calling out Muslims who have been attacking our nation, and himself, but then he does that to others as well.

So, to get back to the main topic, hatred against Christians in our nation. I find it very difficult to see why the Democrat Party hates God, the people in the House of Representatives, have done away with “so help me God” in the swearing in ceremonies, which of course is another indication of wanting to get God out of the way of what they are looking to accomplish. They seem to want dead babies, even after birth in some states now. This nation was founded by men who believed that God was an integral part of their lives. We find Jefferson inviting clergy to come to the Capitol to bring the word on Sunday mornings. The Congress even funded the publication of bibles to bring to the Indians to show them about God and to perhaps bring some to Jesus.

Now here we are today, the Democrats are working to remove God from everywhere they can, from the walls of State and City buildings, school buildings, even many courthouses. I cannot understand why that is, Jesus said that we are to love our neighbor as ourself and yet here we find hatred for over 50% of our nation. President Obama talked about people who cling to their guns and their Bibles. Hillary Clinton called us deplorables, as well as homophobes, and other names. There are many who are against homosexual persons, but we don’t hate them, we see them as in need of Jesus just as we ourselves have needed Jesus Christ to show us how to live.

There is evil in this land, and as a Christian man, I will fight evil with all my strength. I believe that the hatred I see in our land is evil, and is spawned by Satan to destroy our nation. Just as I look on socialism as an evil and vile type of violence against the people of this great nation. We fought the cold war to end the scourge of socialism in our world. We fought WW II to end the socialist nations of the Axis in Europe. Germany and Italy were both socialist nations, just as Russia was.

Today this evil is raising its ugly head in Russia, China and other places in our world. China is working to eradicate Christianity from their land, but making Churches take down crosses and rid themselves of Bibles, and worship the State. They are also imprisoning Muslims as well, in re-education camps.
So this is to be the future for those nations, and the Democrat Party is trying to make it the future for us in America. I see that if they win power in the House, Senate and the White House they will run roughshod over all of us.

The Hatred of the Left

I just sent a note to Tomi Lahren at Fox Nation, she was attacked by a rapper who used extremely vile and sexist language to attack her. Her reply was excellent, and without the vile language used against her. I know her work and applaud her for standing up for herself against those who hate anything not of the progressive, communist left.

Now I also am not a happy camper when the President of the United States gets himself into foolish fights on twitter such as that we see against Mr. Kellyanne Conway, I have no idea why he has attacked Mr. Trump and until now our President has kept silent about it, but let it go Mr. President, this is not worth your time, and please stop attacking the McCain family, John McCain has died, I did not agree with him on many things, but it is time to let this one go too. It is history and for whatever it is you and he got cross-ways with each other, that too is history.

OK I got that off my chest, now let me talk a bit about this hatred that is now permeating our society. I know that our younger generation has no idea of the history of even the 20th Century so it behooves us to teach those who have been in so called Universities staffed by those who pump them full of propaganda instead of real facts. First – antifa they claim to be against Fascism, they are actually the fascists they claim to be against. You see in the 1930’s in Germany the National Socialists had thugs dressed in brown shirts who went around beating people with clubs and gangs would wreck stores that belongs to Jewish people. In Italy under Mussolini it was black shirts who did the dirty work. The results were the same. National Socialist party NAZI in Germany, Hitler won election and became the chancellor and then the Fuhrer of Germany. Millions were killed in that war 6 million of them were really Jewish persons, but also Gypsy’s, those who were unable to be helped in the insane asylums, the lame and blind and many Christians who would not toe the line and worship the State. Of course it also meant the death of millions of soldiers, as well as the destruction of much of Germany. In one raid over Dresden, enough bombs were dropped that the entire city burned to the ground.

Meanwhile another socialist became dictator of Russia, his name was Stalin, it is said that he caused the death of 60 million of his own people. No one will ever know for sure just how many he actually had killed, but it was definitely in the millions. Then another Socialist in China, Mao Tse Tung, also responsible for millions of deaths of his own people. No one will ever now how many millions it was but there it is. In North Korea we see the starvation under the dictators who have run that country, also Socialists. Let us look as well at the Castro brothers in Cuba, not millions, but assuredly thousands died under that Socialist Government. Talk to some of the folks in Florida who escaped from Cuba.

We hear AOC and others in our government praising Maduro in Venezuela and saying that our nation is wrong for helping to rid the nation of this cruel dictator. So let us look at our own nation today. We have socialists in our Government today, speaking about making our nation into a Socialist nightmare as Russia, China, Italy, and Cuba as well as the wasteland that is Venezuela today. These socialists hate just as much as Stalin, Maduro, Mao, and the Castro’s hated anyone that would oppose their dream of making their country into a Socialist heaven.

As you send your children to the government controlled schools, listen to what they are being taught, most of it is propaganda and they will begin to sound like AOC and Beto, and many others in our society today. I watched the attack on Chelsea Clinton for daring to come out even mildly against antisemitism. I thought she would be physically attacked. I do not agree with her on most issues, but she was attacked by people who were full of socialist propaganda and who really did not even know what they were talking about. That is hatred and you can see it and hear it as they spew their words almost screaming their words.

How about the groups who surrounded Republicans in Restaurants yelling at them and basically ruining the evening for all the patrons in those establishments. These were and are the modern day brown shirts who spew their hatred for all to see. The one that surprised me somewhat was the guy that attacked a man who was not pushing or shouting, but was asking people if they might be interested in the conservative point of view. He had his sign pulled away, and when he stood up, the brownshirt punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground. I say brownshirt because that is what they looked like when they attacked Jewish people before the Nazi’s took over Germany.

Hatred for those who oppose the socialist view of the world, is becoming a reality in our land. Please America wake up and realize that a time is coming when the right to disagree with someone can get you killed, and for those of you who follow God whether Christian or Muslim or Jew, or Hindu. In China they have made Christian Churches take down the 1st Commandment of the 10 commandments. “You shall have no other gods before me.”

Christians in China are now told that they will worship the state. In France churches across the country have been vandalized and even burned. In Nigeria people were trapped inside their church and it was burned down while they were inside it. In another town, 32 Christians were killed and their homes burned down. This too is hatred, and it is getting worse and worse every day in many places in our world. The latest evidence of this is in New Zealand, where a seriously disturbed man went into two Mosques and killed 50 people and wounded 100 of so more. I cannot imagine the grief that these folks feel, I pray for them as they deal with this horror. I hear the words coming from our politicians in Washington D. C. and I know that they have hatred in their hearts against Christians and Jews, and there is also hatred for others in this nation as well, it will also begin to rear its ugliness too.

Fascism rises again

I am amazed, the Democrats are becoming absolutely unhinged, and with Maxine Waters calling on her followers to get out and get in peoples faces, raise mobs to attack the members of the current cabinet of President Trump, this is what the Brown Shirts in Germany and the Black Shirts in Italy did in the 1930’s to their political enemies. The frightening thing in all of this is we have already had one Republican House Member almost killed by a leftist fanatic. A year ago Steve Scalise was shot and almost killed by a fanatic who had been juiced up by the hateful rhetoric of the Democrats.

Now we see the rhetoric ratcheting up again, we see Sarah Sanders told to leave a restaurant because she works for President Bush, the Secretary of Homeland Security harassed at a Restaurant in Washington D. C. and then even worse these people show up at her home to protest and threaten.

I am old enough to remember that when there was something that the political parties were upset about, they worked it out in the halls of Congress. There was civil debate, in both houses. Now, not so much, people like Kamala Harris, Maxine Waters, and others in the Democratic Party, use VERY harsh language against their opponents. We even see people at award shows, throwing F bombs at the President, so-called comedians, using language that should not be used in any polite society to refer to the other side. We are no longer a polite society, we are heading for what I am very much afraid is going to be a not so civil war in this nation. The rhetoric seems deliberately set to separate us into tribal groups so that the brown and the black and the white along with the Christians, Muslims, and other religious groups, are all separated, and can then commence trying to kill each other. That is what the Brown Shirts, and Black Shirts did in the late 1920’s and 1930’s. That is how Mussolini and Hitler were able to become the leaders of Italy and Germany.

If we do not ratchet back on the rhetoric, things will get worse and worse and our nation will not be a nation any longer. It will destroy itself from within. I see a very bleak future for our nation, and I am not a happy person in the face of what I see coming. The Demons are out amongst our people, and we are rapidly reaching a point of no return.

Love your neighbor?
February 19, 2018, 2:14 pm

As a Christian I try to practice the teaching of Jesus Christ in my daily life. In a conversation with a lawyer (a religious lawyer), one who studied the Law as found in the Jewish Scriptures. The passage is found in the gospel of Luke:
Luk 10:25-27 And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” (26) He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” (27) And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” (English Standard Version)
Jesus then answered him that he had spoken correctly and should do as the law required. The Lawyer asked him, “Who is my neighbor”. Jesus then told a story about a man who had been left for dead on a road side by robbers. A priest walked on the road and saw the man lying there and crossed over to the other side so as not to touch the possibly dead man and become unclean. A Levite then came by also a form of priest, somewhat like the deacons in many churches, he too passed by on the other side.

Then along came a Samaritan, seeing the man he went to him, bandaged him as best he could and cleaned out the wounds. Put the man on his animal and took him to an inn. The next day as he was leaving, he handed the innkeeper a goodly sum of money and asked him to take care of the man, anything more that he had to do above the amount that he was given, the Samaritan said he would pay upon his return.

Now we must understand that Samaritans were hated by Jewish people and would normally have nothing to do with them. Jesus asked the Lawyer who was the one who was neighbor to the injured man. The Lawyer replied, “The one who showed him mercy.” He could not just say the Samaritan, they were lower than any Jewish person. He did however realize that Jesus was teaching him that all people are our neighbors.

Since we have removed God from our normal day, no more prayer in schools, no more Bible reading, God is no longer a part of our daily lives in the greater world in which we live. We now have 60 million dead babies, we have school shootings, we have gang violence, drugs are pervasive in our society, we have sexual promiscuity, with children having children, divorce rates have skyrocketed, and marriage is no longer something that is revered.

Evil is rampant in our society, and yet the government says they can solve this problem by just removing guns from law abiding citizens. Problem, then only criminals will be armed, police are armed but cannot come to your aid before you are killed by those criminals. Police are valiant men and women but they cannot stop a crime from happening, they can only react to the crime that has happened. It is my belief that we need to allow for teachers who are licensed concealed carriers to carry on campus, but it is also necessary that we rid ourselves of the “politically correct” crowd in our midst and wake up to the reality of the need for God to be a part of our every day lives.

If God is allowed back into our public square then the teaching of Jesus, of things like “Love your neighbor as yourself” and “Blessed are the peacemakers” will be taught and become a part of our very lives again. We also need to speak up when we see something that seems out of place in our neighborhood, to help avert a suicide, or murder. I know that growing up in New York City, I do not remember teen suicides, or death and destruction on every street. I also don’t remember the hatred I see today in our nation. I grew up in an integrated neighborhood, we played baseball, football, basketball together, there was no thought about black or white, just who was the best pitcher or quarterback. We fought with each other, but it was verbal, very rare was it a fist fight.

We had bullies, but we took care of that too, we stuck together and did what was necessary to take care of one another. We loved our neighbors, even the two German kids on the street, (Joke) we were German, Italian, Irish and African. We did not hyphenate our ethnicity, we did not need to, we were and are Americans. Ethnicity did not make any difference. I blame the government, liberal professors, and lawyers for the mess we are in today. We need more of Christ and less of division in our nation, because we are in the midst of destroying this Republic in which we live. Remember I said Republic, not democracy.

I cannot in good conscience ask God to bless America, for we no longer bless God which we used to do regularly. Our nation is now in the midst of total breakdown, and if we continue on this path we shall end up in groups and perhaps it will be another civil war, and this one will destroy our republic.

Life – all life matters

I hear people talking about how “black lives matter”, that is true, but so are those who skin tone is yellow, or white or whatever color. You see, when you say, lives matter, no matter the color, I have to ask you: Why do you murder your babies? If life matters then abortion is wrong, you see, you are trying to say that lives matter except when the interfere with your own life. That doesn’t make sense, especially since you are punishing that baby for your own actions, or for the action of someone else. They baby is innocent, yet you are stealing its life, to please yourself, or to punish the rapist or the family member who abused you. The baby did nothing to you, it did not ask to be in your womb, yet its life doesn’t matter, you can punish that baby, because you can’t punish your abuser, or won’t admit that you made a mistake, and give that baby a chance at life. Please stop claiming that life matters is you are pro-“choice” which of course means pro abortion, or as I like to think of it, pro murder.

As a Christian I believe that all people are important to God. Their sin is what keeps them away from God. God has said, do not kill, the better translation is do not murder. God has made people in His image, male and female are in the image of God. Yet society wants to change this perfection of God into sinful activity. God made men and women to fit together, for procreation as well as for intimacy in marriage.

I grew up in a much different world, I was born in 1945, 70 years ago, I served my country during the Vietnam war, and I gave 12 years total of my life to my country. Yet now I wonder if it was worth it. I grew up in an integrated neighborhood, I remember Dr. Martin Luther King and his peaceful demonstrations against the discrimination that existed. I remember when the Republicans passed the Civil Rights act, not the Democrats, yet I note that Black citizens give their votes to the Democrats. I don’t know why, but I know it is true. Of course today it pretty much doesn’t matter as the Party of the Elephant has become Democrat lite, both parties seem to be for bigger government, more intrusion into our lives, more spending on boondoggle projects. 18.5 Trillion in debt and counting. Yes the deficit has gone down, but 500 billion gets added to the debt each year. You see the deficit, is only the difference between what is received in taxes and what is spent by politicians.

Yes I seem to be all over the place, but the reality is, that the government is not making things better. The Federal Government is making things worse, by keep our borders unprotected, by forcing companies to go out of business, by changing the rules every year. Obama is issuing an order that will in effect destroy the coal industry, that means thousands out of work so he can take care of the billionaires who fund democratic election campaigns. All for a lie about global warming. I grew up as I said during the 50’s through the 70’s. I remember then that it was fear of another Ice Age. Of course back then we had lots of snow in the winter. These climate people were wrong then and they are wrong now.

Folks if lives matter, and they do, why have we changed course over the last 30-40 years. Yes there were those who hated this or that group, in other words racists, but today, it seems we have forgotten all the progress that was made in this nation. I still remember when Jackie Robinson came to the big leagues, there were many in the south and some in the north too, who did not want him in the big leagues. Today we celebrate all athletes, except those who mistreat other people, but hey I love to watch football, I am so glad to see that today we have more than one black coach in the league, we have more than one black quarterback also. Business, companies have black leadership in them all over the country, it is a good thing. Not only that, but, this mantra of the Democrats that women are not treated equally in business. Please, give me a break, there are women CEO’s, Chair of the Board of Directors and other high positions in many of the businesses in our nation.

Lives matter, ALL lives matter because we all need one another if this country of ours is to prosper and grow. We also need to look again at what has happened as we have thrown God out of our schools, and public places just so we could satisfy a small minority of people. Our nation has become more and more lawless, we now have greater immorality than ever before, and we allow things that the great empires of the past would never allow. We have done away with morality, and replaced it with hatred, road rage, abortion, sexual immorality of all kinds pornography and worst of all, Child pornography. We actually allow people to speak of allowing for incestuous marriage, brother and sister marriage, men and boys, and other types of sexual immorality that just 30 years ago was unthinkable and criminal. That says to me that lives matter only as long as they do not interfere with our immorality.

Understand this, because of all this, God is not blessing our nation, until and unless we repent of our sin and turn from the horror of our national obsession with narcissism, turn to God again as a nation, God abhors sin in all its forms. God cannot bless a country that will not bless God. Soon and very soon destruction of our way of life will become a reality, and we too will be swept into the dustbin of history as we deserve.

Every Life Matters

The book of Genesis begins with a description of God creating the world and all life that is on it, including mankind. Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” It doesn’t say that they were people of color or of no color, it just says, male and female he created them. I am getting to be a man of age, 70 years ago I was born, 1945, the end of World War II. In my time I have seen much in the way of death and destruction. Korea, Vietnam, and a number of other conflicts, I even served 12 years in the US Army. Last year I buried my brother, Agent orange in Vietnam ended his life too early. I grew up in New York City, I remember the riots in the early 60’s, I remember the killing of JFK and of his brother Bobby, I also remember the killing of Martin Luther King Jr.

This was a dark time in our nation’s history, yet I also know that we have come a great distance from the time. Is there racism, sure, there are always going to be people who will want to foment hatred for one group or another. Witness the hatred against Jewish people, my own ancestry includes Irish ancestors, they experienced hatred. One of the ancestors of my wife was an indentured servant. Not slavery, but he sure suffered whipping and other deprivations while an indenture. I also remember going to Ft. Knox Kentucky in 1963 as a private in the army. A friend of mine at the time, a man of color, and I went to Louisville on a pass, we stopped at a place for lunch. As we entered the cafe, we were stopped and my buddy was told he needed to go to the back (colored) entrance. After some back and forth with the man who stopped us, we both left and found another place, I was the only white face in the place. I wasn’t told to go elsewhere, we were both welcome in that place. Had a great lunch and a good time while we were there. What a difference from the inhospitable cafe we originally went to.

Today that will not happen, we can go where we wish to go, and enjoy a meal in any place we want to enter. I live now in Texas, there is no problem where we live, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo, and Juneteenth as well as the 4th of July. Much has changed, and yet, we hear people claiming that racism is rampant in our country. These people who claim to be Pastors, (Rev. Al Sharpton) and others, the invective sure seems somewhat short of what the Lord Jesus would be saying, and what I remember from Martin Luther King Jr. as well. It also pains me to hear our President speak in derogatory terms about people, I note that he has not done what I really hoped he would, and that is to improve on race relations even more than they were. Instead we have been forced to listen to a racist Attorney General, and many others in this administration, claiming that racism has been rampant in our society. Yet without the millions of us racist white folks voting for this President, he would not have been President. We had hoped that the progress that had been made in race relations would continue under Barack Hussein Obama. Unfortunately that hope has been dashed.

Now we hear the Democratic candidates invoking racism as well, talking as if we were still in the dark ages of our nation. I studied history, and find that hundreds of thousands of white people died to end slavery during the most horrific war of our history, a Republican President was the issuer of the Emancipation proclamation, not a Democrat. A Republican man of Color, Frederick Douglass, a freed slave and a pastor was instrumental in the writing of that proclamation. Yet that history has been buried, and the name of Douglass has been hidden, in order to foster, hatred between the races.

We all live in this nation, and whether you are black, white, yellow or brown, we all matter, our lives all matter. The problems we face are of our own making, and it is high time we stopped hating each other and begin again to treat one another with respect. We need to regain that which we have lost in the last 10 years or so, we need to stop this constant beat of race baiting and begin to heal these wounds that have been caused by those who are making their living on hatred. It is high time to change the rhetoric, and the path we are on, and once again move forward as a United People, as people who want to live in peace with our neighbors, as people who look at the heart and the work of each other and not at the color of our skin.

It is time to see ourselves as neighbors and friends, instead of enemies. Are you ready to move forward instead of backward? Let us start a new conversation, one that hears as well as speaks, one that respects each other, one that moves us toward being the great country we can be. Will you join me?

Discrimination against Christians in California

World Magazine has an article in regard to the closing down of Christian groups on California college campuses. It seems that we are no longer allowed to require our leaders in different clubs to believe in Jesus Christ, we must instead be open to anyone who wants to be leader. Be it a Muslim, Buddhist, or Satanist, or even an atheist. Looks like we soon will be unable to preach and teach the word of God because it will be considered “Hate Speech”.

WORLD | The D-word is coming to a campus near you | Josh Good | Oct. 11, 2014.

A few years ago there was a Pastor in Canada who preached a sermon on Romans Chp 1. He was arrested and tried for hate speech, because he read about Homosexuality being sinful in God’s word and that was not allowed speech in Canada. I do not remember the outcome of the trial but I do know what happens if you speak about Jesus in Muslim circles. There are quite a few pastors in jail, because they loved Jesus more than the trip to hell that they believed so many were on. They wanted to save souls. this is not limited to Muslim countries though, it happens in many places in the world of today. There is a persecuted church and more Christians die for their faith in Jesus Christ than had died in the previous 1900 years.

War or Just Interference?

If our sending missiles into Syria is just interfering with the Civil War in Syria, then I guess 9/11/2001 was just interfering with our ability to conduct business. Of course congress at that time gave President Bush the authorization to go to war against Terrorism, so why wouldn’t Syria and their allies go to war against the U. S. in the same way? If the U. S. Military fires missiles into Syria because the Congress gave authorization, will we be surprised if Syria declares war against us? What about their threat to attack Israel, and the Russians saying they will send arms to Syria to help them in their war against their enemies.

Listening to the news makes me cringe, wars, rumors of wars, the return of measles, a disease that was all but wiped out, until we decided that it was wrong to force parents vaccinate their children. It seems that stupid trumps good health. Let us learn from this that inserting ourselves into foreign countries and choosing sides is a losing proposition. It is time to vaccinate ourselves against misplaced charity. All that has happened is that many of our young men and women have been killed or injured trying to bring civilization to these countries. These folks hate us, not because we have been helping them by building schools or helping to bring their countries into the 21st Century. They hate us because their leaders both secular and religious have taught them that the Americans are the great Satan. They will kill us when they get a chance, and feel no remorse.

We have no dog in this fight in Syria, and since the Arab League refuses to step in, why should we do so? Please don’t tell me it is a matter of National Security, that is bunk, this people cannot really hurt us, nor can they seriously think that they can go to war against us. Let them do what they have been doing for over 1,000 years, that is killing each other. The Sunni’s kill the Shia and the Shia return the favor. They treat women like slaves, they claim to revere women, if that is the case why is it that a woman cannot leave her home without a male member of her family. A woman who is raped, must have 3 men witnesses who will testify in her behalf, otherwise she is sentenced to death by stoning for being a harlot. Let these people kill each other instead of killing our men and women, perhaps they will wake up and realize that they are destroying themselves, and will find a better way to live.

We have no dog in this fight and it is time we woke up and realized that it is not our job to try to save these people from themselves. Of course the other truth in this idiocy is that we are only going to send in a couple of thousand missiles killing innocent people instead of actually stopping or “degrading” the ability of Assad to use poison gas. Let the Arabs stop the conflict, of course they won’t they will wait until the Syrians are beaten down, then pick the bones of Syria clean. Contact your Congressman/woman and tell them you are not interested in going to war in Syria. Contact your Senators and tell them the same. This is a senseless loss to life, and a declaration of war because we will be attacking a sovereign nation, like it or not, they are a sovereign nation and it is not our fight.
