The Texas Constitution Article 1 Section 16 says “that no bill of attainder, ex post facto law, retroactive law, or any law impairing the obligation of contracts, shall be made.” This was pointed out by Rep. David Simpson when SB 293 which had passed the Senate, was brought to the floor by Speaker Strauss, a RINO of the first order. This bill was written because NASCAR wanted to be paid for items that were prohibited under the existing law, passed by the 83rd Legislature in 2013. NASCAR threatened to boycott Texas if they were not allowed to be reimbursed for these expenses. It may be that NASCAR should be invited to do as they wish, I enjoy the races, but not being held up by criminal organizations so I can enjoy them.
The present law does not allow funds to be reimbursed unless the entity is named under SB 1678 which as stated above was passed in 2013. Since that is the case, the bill now before the Texas House SB 293, is an unconstitutional bill, and if it passes the house, the Governor should veto it because it is unconstitutional. This is a travesty, but one that is to be expected because the Speaker of the House in Texas is a Republican in name only (RINO) and even appoints Democrats to chair Committees in a Republican dominated House. It is really high time that the Republicans get rid of these RINO’s and elect Republican conservatives to office. I personally think we should give Austin to California, since it is populated by Liberal Democrats.
Of course that is not possible unless we can somehow uproot the entire city and move it to California. (LOL) There should however be some way to enforce the Constitution of Texas in our own House, but it seems that the Democrats control it as long as Strauss controls the Speaker Chair.

In 1865 in Mississippi there was a law that said: “No freedman, Negro, or mulatto shall carry or keep firearms or ammunition” What we find in this piece of law was that the KKK was able to terrorize, kill and maim people of color, because they were unable to defend themselves. Here we are again trying to take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens and leaving them defenseless. Don’t try to tell me that the police, sheriff or other law enforcement people will be able to protect those folks, it is a lie. If a person is lucky enough to be able to call 911 for assistance it will still take 5 – 10 maybe even 15 minutes to get someone to that location. The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution allows ALL PERSONS black or white or brown to defend themselves in the event of an attack upon their person or on their family.
Of course the more I see of politicians the more I understand that they want to hold complete control over every aspect of our lives. One of the best ways to do this is to make sure we are powerless to do anything about it. Disarming the population is the best and easiest way to control the population. History tells us this truth, in the beginning of our nation the British tried to disarm the people of New England, that lead to Lexington and Concord and the start of the Rebellion. As stated above after the Civil War there were a number of laws passed to stop black people from being able to protect themselves. I would suggest that you might want to take a look at the website for CURE. You will find much very useful information there.
I find it reprehensible that politicians tell us that we need to be disarmed to cut back on crime when the truth is that the places with the greatest amount of crimes with guns take place in, Chicago, Washington D. C. and New York City, as well as Los Angeles and other states in the West. It used to be that gun crimes were rampant in Florida, until they passed the Shall Issue law and law-abiding citizens started carrying concealed, murder and other types of gun crimes plummeted. Let the citizens of our nation protect themselves against the robbers and rapists in this land, and let the politicians begin to do the job they are supposed to do. The Constitution of the United States gives you and I the opportunity to rid ourselves of these rapacious politicians, who will tax and spend but will never care about those they hurt with their policies.
Wake up America, this is your country, it was built on Judeo/Christian principles, and it was built with the idea that only a moral people would be able to live under the constitution, only a populace willing to recognize that they have the ability to make a life by the sweat of their brow can actually live in a law-abiding society. The founders of this great nation, recognized too that God had to be in the forefront of our people, that was where morality came from, yet here we are in 2013, trying to destroy what this country is, by destroying the very foundation that was put in place by our founders.
Let me hear from you, what do you think? Is it right to return to a place where we are no longer able to defend ourselves, but must rely on Government? They have done such a great job with the budget, 4 years without one, with Amtrak, which is bleeding millions of dollars, the Post Office which can’t even deliver mail on a Saturday any more. I think we need to wake up and realize that if we want something done we must do it ourselves. The Government exists only to take more and more of our money, they grow, we lose, they will continue to grow and take more and more until we are really all nothing but slaves black, white makes no difference, we will all work to support the government elites.

There is a news story that really bothers me. A wounded Staff Sergeant with 10 years in the military, medically discharged and now working at Ft. Drum in New York State is arrested for possession of 5 magazines for his AR15 which he legally owned, but in New York State, under their old law, you could not have a magazine that would hold more than 10 rounds. Now if you did it was a FELONY now a magazine, that is empty, is just a magazine. Even if it was full of bullets it was still not going to hurt anyone, so, how could this be a felony?
Of course I left New York State in 1976 and have never looked back, it is a haven for leftists and socialists, and being a conservative it was hard to get work in that state. The only time I went back, I did so to bury my Dad and left as soon as possible after the funeral. New York is a depressing place, it is all gray and dingy, where I grew up is now all apartments and parking lots. Cement all over the place, even where we used to play stick ball is gone. The Church I used to attend as a kid growing up, now has an 8 foot high chain link fence around it and a locked gate. Why would anyone want to live in a place where even a church has to be locked behind a fence?
Now at the same time we have this “News” anchor, David Gregory, who knew he was breaking the law in Washington D. C. when he flashed a 30 round magazine on national TV. Of course they will not prosecute him, he is a “Star” and a “Newsman” so he is exempt from prosecution. A wounded veteran, a man who has had his license to carry taken away from him, even though he has not been convicted of any crime as of yet. The sheriff confiscated his handguns, he has sold everything he could so he could pay his legal bills, and they want to put this man in prison for having in his possession 5 magazines with no bullets. Now if he had those magazines on Ft. Drum, he would have been legal, but they arrested him with them as he tried to sell them. It doesn’t say how they knew he was doing that, or where it was that he was trying to sell them.
So, a war hero, wounded in action, and working for the Dept. of Defense as a civilian, is arrested and faces prison time, and if convicted will lose his job even if he doesn’t go to prison, but the suit the “Newsman” who sits behind a desk and reads the news, he can do as he pleases, even break the law and nothing will be done to him. So, isn’t it nice to live in the Socialist Republic of New York? Thank heavens I live in Texas where people are still free to pursue happiness, to carry (concealed of course) and to be able to protect themselves and their property. Of course we do have the Socialist City of Austin, but, we don’t have to go there so I guess it is OK as long as it stays there.
You would think that people would wake up and smell the coffee, that they would begin to see that the government is taking away their rights to be a free people. The Feds are constantly attacking the First Amendment, and ignoring the 10th. They want to put drones in our skies so they can track the movements of people to make sure we aren’t going to do something they don’t like. Our President acts more like a dictator ignoring the congress and ruling by executive orders. Janet Napolitano, Homeland Security Chief has stated that terrorists are those people who are veterans (military), or those who disagree with the government, and those who join the militia. Not only that but these people are stock piling ammunition they have ordered 1.6 billion rounds of hollow point bullets. Hello? What is that all about, WAKE UP AMERICA.
