The magic of establishment economics

We are over 205 TRILLION in debt, not the 18 trillion (doubled in 7 years by Obama and the Democrats). Is it any wonder that the government doesn’t want to report on the true state of our economy?
The magic of establishment economics – Personal Liberty.

I do hope you will read this installment of the truth from Personal Liberty, because it is WAY past time to remove these people (democrats and republicans), these career politicians from office. It makes little difference which party these men and women are in, they are all working to feather their own nest, not to return our nation to the Constitution that will make them stop the foolishness. Government should not be growing, it should be shrinking. It should not take over our Schools, it should be protecting our borders. Government should not be giving away money that we don’t have to those who want to destroy us, yet money is flowing out to countries that have a vested interest in our destruction. Of course the Clinton Foundation is receiving billions from China, Saudi Arabia, and others who do not want to see us prosper.

Career politicians, democrat and republican, and I include Jeb Bush, Hillary Clinton, Chuck Shumer, John Cornyn and others in this statement. Must be seen for the people they truly are, and rejected as our representatives, they do not represent you and I they represent themselves. They have gotten rich from their years in office, they line their own pockets, and continue to tax us into poverty.

40 million people on Food Stamps, is absolutely outrageous, so is 100 million unemployed or under employed. Wake up folks, see this government for what it is, a place where career politicians continue to get rich, continue to grow the control of our population by increased bureaucracy, that is unelected people who issue rules and regulations that become more and more convoluted every year. They stifle your ability to get ahead in the name of fighting poverty, while we the people sink deeper into the morass of poverty ourselves.

It is time to leave the Republican Party!

Now that the leadership in both House and Senate have sided with Obama and the Democrat murder machine (abortion providers). It is time for conservatives to STOP funding this group of slime balls. Boehner, McConnell, McCain and the rest of these cowardly traitors have shown they don’t care about us, why should we continue to fund them and elect them to term after term. We have only one decent senator now in Washington from Texas, that is Ted Cruz. The other one, Cornyn has turned into another RINO. I for one will do all in my power to insure that this turncoat is not sent back to the Senate in 2014. I hope that those who support McConnell and the other RINO’s in their states will fund true conservatives not these buffoons.

Read the article at CNS news today talking about how they have funded abortion for all! It is time to send all of them packing. It is time to return our nation to the Constitutional Republic it was in the beginning. We the people need to rise up and demand that our States call for a Constitutional Convention to amend the Constitution so that we can stop this insanity. The Federal Government is out of control, return the power to the States and to ourselves as it was meant to be. Stop this slide into Socialism, and take back our Nation.

Coptic Christians and Syrian Rebels

What is the truth in Egypt and in Syria? In Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood has begun a systematic genocide against Coptic Christians who trace their lineage back to Peter and Mark. Over 100 Churches have been destroyed and many if not hundreds of the congregants have been killed by Muslims on Jihad. In Syria, we find that thousands have been killed and it appears that the government is using poison gas against the rebels. In both of these cases our national government seems to be at the best befuddled about what is going on and at the worst they don’t care.

It is absolutely shameful that our nation, which had no problem killing many in air raids in Libya, which uses drones in Pakistan and Afghanistan to kill hundreds in the name of killing one or two terrorist suspects. Yet in clear cases of genocide, we do nothing, even when our President said that the use of chemical weapons would be a red line that would bring dire consequences to the users. Seems like it was one more empty threat, because the President and his minions are dancing all around the issue, saying we need more information, we need proof. What about the deaths of over 1,000 men, women and children in Syria, or the burning of over 100 churches and the death of hundreds of Coptic Christians? It is insane to make threats, which you have no intention of carrying out, but I guess it felt good to make the threat, at least you did something. Words however, have consequences, and when you make a threat about what another person or group is doing, you HAVE TO follow-up on that threat or your words mean nothing.

So, Mr. President, are you going to step up to the plate, or are you going to continue to hide behind needing more information? When will you carry out your threat, when will the United States do more than talk? When will our UN Ambassador show up for a Security Council meeting? How many more deaths will it take to get at least a no fly zone over Syria, how many more deaths will it take for the US to stand up in Egypt? It is time for the Terrorists to realize that we are not just words we are actions. Of course, I guess you could just say it is work place violence like you did in Ft. Hood, when it was clearly a terrorist act. I am glad that at least this terrorist has been found guilty and will face a possible death sentence. However, when will the purple hearts be issued to those who were killed and wounded, when will their deaths be considered an act of terror so that their families will receive the death benefits they deserve to receive?

I am beginning to see that our government doesn’t care about anything except their own power and money that the power brings and it sickens me. I had resisted this belief, but cannot any longer resist it, it has become more than obvious. It really doesn’t make any difference which party is in power just about all of those in positions of power seem to be corrupt. It is a shame to have to watch the demise of this great Republic, but that is what we are witnessing as we continue down the Socialist path to our destruction.

It is truly time to replace the IRS, by putting in place a “fair” tax or the “flat” tax. This government agency is way too big and too powerful.

Another piece of the puzzle

In 1865 in Mississippi there was a law that said: “No freedman, Negro, or mulatto shall carry or keep firearms or ammunition” What we find in this piece of law was that the KKK was able to terrorize, kill and maim people of color, because they were unable to defend themselves. Here we are again trying to take guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens and leaving them defenseless. Don’t try to tell me that the police, sheriff or other law enforcement people will be able to protect those folks, it is a lie. If a person is lucky enough to be able to call 911 for assistance it will still take 5 – 10 maybe even 15 minutes to get someone to that location. The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution allows ALL PERSONS black or white or brown to defend themselves in the event of an attack upon their person or on their family.

Of course the more I see of politicians the more I understand that they want to hold complete control over every aspect of our lives. One of the best ways to do this is to make sure we are powerless to do anything about it. Disarming the population is the best and easiest way to control the population. History tells us this truth, in the beginning of our nation the British tried to disarm the people of New England, that lead to Lexington and Concord and the start of the Rebellion. As stated above after the Civil War there were a number of laws passed to stop black people from being able to protect themselves. I would suggest that you might want to take a look at the website for CURE. You will find much very useful information there.

I find it reprehensible that politicians tell us that we need to be disarmed to cut back on crime when the truth is that the places with the greatest amount of crimes with guns take place in, Chicago, Washington D. C. and New York City, as well as Los Angeles and other states in the West. It used to be that gun crimes were rampant in Florida, until they passed the Shall Issue law and law-abiding citizens started carrying concealed, murder and other types of gun crimes plummeted. Let the citizens of our nation protect themselves against the robbers and rapists in this land, and let the politicians begin to do the job they are supposed to do. The Constitution of the United States gives you and I the opportunity to rid ourselves of these rapacious politicians, who will tax and spend but will never care about those they hurt with their policies.

Wake up America, this is your country, it was built on Judeo/Christian principles, and it was built with the idea that only a moral people would be able to live under the constitution, only a populace willing to recognize that they have the ability to make a life by the sweat of their brow can actually live in a law-abiding society. The founders of this great nation, recognized too that God had to be in the forefront of our people, that was where morality came from, yet here we are in 2013, trying to destroy what this country is, by destroying the very foundation that was put in place by our founders.

Let me hear from you, what do you think? Is it right to return to a place where we are no longer able to defend ourselves, but must rely on Government? They have done such a great job with the budget, 4 years without one, with Amtrak, which is bleeding millions of dollars, the Post Office which can’t even deliver mail on a Saturday any more. I think we need to wake up and realize that if we want something done we must do it ourselves. The Government exists only to take more and more of our money, they grow, we lose, they will continue to grow and take more and more until we are really all nothing but slaves black, white makes no difference, we will all work to support the government elites.

Let the Sequester Happen

It is probably the only way we will get any negative movement in the spending frenzy in D. C.. Of course everyone says that the sequester is cutting the budget, when in reality all it means is that the spending will be slowed down. You see in Washington, when they say they are cutting spending what they really are doing is slowing the growth in spending. The sequester is only a measure that will cut into the amount to be spent, not an actual cut in spending.

When I figure my budget for next year, I don’t start from where I ended last year, but rather I start from zero and then begin to look at how much money I have coming in and what my goals are for the coming year, then I allocate my funds accordingly. The Government says; we have this much from last year, we will add 10% to that figure and then look at what we want to accomplish in the next fiscal year. So where my figure starts at zero, their figure will start at say 10 billion, then add 10% to that so they actually start at 11 billion then add the figures for the next year to that amount. So in truth there is an automatic hike in spending even though they say they will cut 85 billion in the fiscal year, oh and by the way, since they are already into this fiscal year, won’t the sequester actually take effect in October 2013 for the 2014 Fiscal year? Since they don’t even have a budget, how do they know what to cut and where since they are just spending money like it was water anyway, what do they know as far as what needs to be cut and how to cut it?

I think that all this hype about sequester is just a bunch of bs that needs to be cut out and these supposed grown men and women need to start acting as if they really are grown-ups and not little children throwing a temper tantrum. The original idea came from President Obama, it was passed by both houses (a pox on them all) of congress and signed by this president. They are all equally to blame and yet they want to put it all on the Republicans. It is time for the posturing to end, for this narcissist in chief to stop being a bully and get to work on fixing the stupid mess he has gotten us into. Lead stupid or get out-of-the-way!

Hyperbole or Stretching the Truth?
February 13, 2013, 3:13 pm

Listening to the SOTU last night I heard a lot of things thrown out that were a bit hard to swallow, things like “We have doubled the miles our cars can go on a gallon of gas” that is simply untrue. They, the Federal Government has issued a new cafe standard that says cars will have to get 50+ miles on a gallon by 2025. I have to admit I wonder if our auto industry will be able to hit that goal. Perhaps by making cars lighter and smaller they might, but, I don’t want to drive a roller skate, I want a steel box that will save my life when I hit a deer, or when someone hits my car.

If you want to do some fact checking you might want to try Fact Check Org. That will give you a pretty good picture of what really is happening as opposed to the Politi Speak that we heard last night, and will continue to hear during the next several weeks as the Obama Election Campaign ramps up again.

Marco Rubio gave the Republican rebuttal and it too had some hyperbole in it, which you can also check out at the website. Then there was Rand Paul who gave the Tea Party Rebuttal, oh, you didn’t know about that? I watched it today at the Washington Post website. It’s about 13 minutes long but I really enjoyed what he had to say. He went after the political circus on both sides of the aisle in Washington. It’s true that both sides need to stop the rhetoric, read the Constitution and act like grown ups instead of kids on the playground. He said that he would be introducing a proposal to balance the budget in 5 – 6 years, using a flat 17% tax on income and cutting spending, starting with foreign aid to nations that burn our flag and say “death to America.” Our nation faces some serious challenges over the next few years, and if we don’t get our fiscal house in order, well, we are on the way to becoming a second-rate country.

You can check out all of these, the SOTU itself plus the 2 responses for yourself. Just Google it and you will see lots of hits, from Chris Matthews making inane statements to the actual footage. Then make your own comments, tell us what you think about the SOTU, is it really just hot air, or do you think things will change for the better?

The Plan

I keep reading how the Democrats say that Mitt Romney doesn’t have a plan except to give tax cuts to the rich and destroy the middle class. I have to admit that really torques my jaws. Mitt Romney does have a plan and lets take a look at some of it now.

1. Spending: First – repeal Obamacare immediate savings 95 Billion dollars a year.
Second – Privatize Amtrak — Savings: $1.6 Billion. Despite requirement that Amtrak operate on a for-profit basis, it continues to receive about $1.6 billion in taxpayer funds each year. Forty-one of Amtrak’s 44 routes lost money in 2008 with losses ranging from $5 to $462 per passenger. This is a complete political boondoggle and needs to be privatized. Third – Reduce Foreign Aid. Why do we give money to countries that want to destroy us? Fourth – Eliminate Title X Family Planning Funding — Savings: $300 Million. Title X subsidizes family planning programs that benefit abortion groups like Planned Parenthood. I keep hearing that Government should get out of our bedrooms, this will help make it happen.
Fifth – Align Federal Employee Compensation With The Private Sector — Savings: $47 Billion. Federal compensation exceeds private sector levels by as much as 30 to 40 percent when benefits are taken into account. This must be corrected.
This is only a partial list of the changes Mitt would make to spending. Click on the Spending title and you will be able to read the whole platform on spending.

2. Energy:
First
Establish fixed timetables for all resource development approvals
Create one-stop shop to streamline permitting process for approval of common activities
Implement fast-track procedures for companies with established safety records to conduct pre-approved activities in pre-approved areas
Ensure that environmental laws properly account for cost in regulatory process
Amend Clean Air Act to exclude carbon dioxide from its purview
Expand NRC capabilities for approval of additional nuclear reactor designs
Streamline NRC processes to ensure that licensing decisions for reactors on or adjacent to approved sites, using approved designs, are complete within two years

Second
Conduct comprehensive survey of America’s energy reserves
Open America’s energy reserves for development
Expand opportunities for U.S. resource developers to forge partnerships with neighboring countries
Support construction of pipelines to bring Canadian oil to the United States
Prevent overregulation of shale gas development and extraction

This is just a small part of the overall plan of Mitt Romney as our President. I hope you will read the rest of his plan and share it with others as well. It is a good and sensible plan which will help to get us back on the right track to fiscal and energy independence. Let me know what you think about all this, because this is an election that will have a huge impact on the direction of our nation for years to come, from monetary policy, to supreme court justices. Thanks for reading and joining the discussion.

Santorum suspends Campaign
April 10, 2012, 3:14 pm
Filed under: Politics, Republican | Tags: , ,

Rick Santorum today announced that he was suspending his campaign for President. It was a difficult weekend for Santorum and his family as his daughter Isabella was hospitalized. He said that for them Good Friday was a passion day for them. They spent much of the weekend talking a praying about where they were and where they were going from there, and decided it was time to suspend the campaign. He also said that they would continue to fight for the right and moral things that our nation has moved away from over the last 50 years or so.

I am glad that he has suspended the campaign, not because I did not like him, he had some good things to say and I do hope he is serious about keeping up being a voice for morality and the truth of our Constitution. It is now time for the Republican Party to come together and begin the work that needs to be done so we can defeat Barack Obama and the Democratic stranglehold on our Senate. There has been no budget for 3 years and the Senate is refusing to do anything about a budget this year. It is time to get serious about our nation and its huge deficits.

Let us start again as a party to make sure we move into the future and the Presidency as well as the House and Senate.
