Darrell Castle is the Candidate for POTUS on the Constitution Party Ticket. If you live in TX he is a write in candidate. He will be interviewed by Glenn Beck on The Blaze TV 24 Aug 2016 at 11:00 am Eastern. There will also be a live online link at http://www.glennbeck.com/publish/live_player/ later in the afternoon there will be an audio recording posted to http://www.soundcloud.com/glennbeck it promises to be an interesting interview.

Darrell is very much a Constitutional man, he believes that our nation is on the wrong track and that we need to return to our Constitutional roots. You have heard that we are a democracy, we are not, we are a Constitutional Republic. You may ask so, what’s the difference? In a Constitutional Republic we are interested in people, if you read the Constitution it is all about people being in control of their lives, not the government. In a democracy it is the Majority Rules, in other words if the majority says that people must eat only healthy foods, as put forth by the Food and Drug Administration, then that is the law and you have to obey it. In a Constitutional Republic you choose what to eat, when to eat, etc. You make choices in your life, of course you are also responsible for whatever the consequences of your choices.

Alternative to the Status Quo

We have two political parties in this country vying for control of our national government. One is the Democrats, their candidate is a liar, conniver, power hungry woman named Hillary Clinton. The other party is the Republicans their candidate is a narcissist, hungry for power, businessman named Donald Trump. I want to state here that it does not matter which of them wins the presidency, it will still help the destruction of our Constitutional Republic, because neither of them wants to return to the Constitution, they are both power hungry people who will continue to grow the bureaucracy, and continue to spend like drunken sailors on their pet projects. Both parties are anathema to the Constitution and therefore to the prosperity of our nation.

I posit for you a third choice, a party that wants to put the Constitution back into its proper place, it is the supreme law of our land and both parties have ignored it for far too long. Much of what they have done has been unconstitutional and yet they continue to make the same moves as always. Pandering to whatever group they think will get them the best position to grow their power and prestige. You see, our nation was founded on certain principles which have been ignored and even derided over the last 100 years or so of this nation. Many people, especially talking heads speak of our democracy, they contend that we are a democracy when we are NOT a democracy. This nation was formed as a Constitutional Republic. The Federal Government was to be a limited government, and the power was reserved to the States and the People. Here is the preamble to the Constitution:

We the People  of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Note that this preamble, does not say we the members of the aristocracy, or the rulers of the nation, it says “We The People” so it is we the people who established this nation through the activities of those we elected to act for us in congress.

The Constitution Party has the goal of moving our nation back to that place where we the people, and the States in which we live and work have the power to govern ourselves. The Federal government has certain powers, but only those powers and no others. Instead of course they have continually grabbed more and more power because they say, “We know better how to help you live your lives.” They control every aspect of our lives and it is time we took back our lives from these politicians who think they are better than we are. The new Royalty if you will.

We have the power in the 10th Amendment to this Constitution to nullify any and all unconstitutional acts by the Federal government. We need to wake up our State governments and get them acting in our welfare, not to benefit Washington D. C. but to benefit We the People. This amendment to the Constitution reads: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Show me in the Constitution where the Feds have the right to tell us how to educate our children, that has always been a work of the states and local communities. Abolish the Department of Education (propaganda), and return to us the education of our children. Where is it in the Constitution that the President is to make laws? It is not, do away with this Executive Order that these men in the office of President use to make law and to abandon any pretense of Congress as the body that is charged with writing laws. The office of President is not the office of Emperor or King, but rather the man or woman charged with carrying out the laws of our land, written by our Congress, our Representatives that we have elected to act on our behalf.

Our party platform can be found at both places. Know that we believe in the sanctity of life, we also believe that government is local, not federal. It is also necessary that those who would serve as our representatives display exemplary qualities of honesty, integrity, reliability, moral rightness, fidelity, prudence, temperance, justice, fortitude, self-restraint, courage, kindness and compassion. If those who would hold public office cannot be trusted in private life, then they cannot be trusted in public life.

I urge you to check out this party, and our candidates for high office. We need your help to re-establish our Constitutional Republic, end our dependence on people who want to kill us and get us out of foreign entanglements. A Nullification Lesson from the Articles of Confederation

This article deals with the reality of the Federal Government needing our states personnel and money in order to make their policies work. It is time we the people take back our rights from the Feds who have overstepped their authority. The 10th Amendment to the Constitution states: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
