I think it depends upon your world view as to where you expect to end up in this new year. I note that there are two world views, one is Atheistic (anti-God), the other claims to be Christian. Of course there are other religions in the world, but this is a battle between secular and religious thought and ideas. I am glad that I went to school and studied history because I know that what is being taught today, is a bunch of lies. Of course we are now in a “Post Christian Nation”, we are now dealing with liberal/progressive thought. These are the people who worship at the altar of survival of the fittest, Darwinism at its base is one that says, man came from primeval ooze and is just another member of the animal kingdom. Christians believe that God created this world, and man was created to be companion to God, to live and work to keep the earth and to subdue it.

I happen to believe that Judeo-Christian belief system is the right one, and I see my fellow Christians not willing to step up and fight back against the atheists who are working to make us like Europe. Europe is a place that long ago surrendered to this anti-God group, these are the descendents of the men of “reason” of “science”. They do not believe as Christians do, and we have no place where we can come to agreement, because we start from God, they start from NO God. I say this because if we who believe that God is supreme do not follow the commandments of our Lord and King, then we will succumb to these godless people and our nation will continue into NO MORALS, just the idea that whatever you think is right then it is right for you.

I am going to turn 70 years old next year, and I look back over my life and I realize that this is something that I too have been guilty of, not willing to stand up and be counted, not willing to say NO to those who want to practice immorality and force me to be a part of that immoral society. I remember the words of Isaiah who said, Isa 6:5 “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts.” I do live among a people of unclean lips. A people who think that it is just fine to kill babies, to use women as objects, to use children as objects. There is an organization trying to make it legal for men to use boys as sexual objects. There are those who say that pornography is free speech, that sexual pleasure should be something that is perfectly alright and that women should just realize that and enjoy it. I see television commercials that are nothing but “soft” Porn, it seems that this is an acceptable thing, that women should be seen as close to naked as possible so that men will want the item being sold.

This is not what God wants for us, we are supposed to care about others, we are supposed to treat all people men and women as equals, that is what the Bible teaches, but instead I see us treating women as inferior to men, I do see a war on women, it is not a Republican thing it is a progressive thing. I cannot understand why it is acceptable for rap songs to treat women as whores, and that is what they call women in their lyrics. Is that what these people think of their mothers, their sisters? Let us also look at the difference between men and women on news shows. Who is exposing skin? Is it the men in their suits and ties, or is it the women with low bodice and short skirt. Why is that? It is because it will get men to tune in to their newscasts. It perpetuates the idea that women are only objects to be looked at and used and abused.

Is that what God wants? No way, but it is what evil wants. I hate to say this but here is a truth, Muslim Terrorists, Isis Al Qaeda and others, see us as a totally immoral nation. They see that we are bringing our filth into the rest of this world, and they hate us for it, as well as hate us for being Christians or Jews. If we continue on the path we are going on now, our nation will not last, we will, like Rome sink into ever deeper depths of depravity until finally our nation will destroy itself.

From Washington D. C. to our own towns, we have turned our backs on our history, we don’t even know our history anymore, we let society tell us what it is, the truth is disappearing quickly and the lies are becoming the truth. The only way to turn this around is to return to our roots, which are based in our Christian beliefs. Starting with all people have worth, no one is better than anyone else. The other reality is that we need to stand up and give notice, immorality is not a way of life it is instead a way of death and destruction. If you are a Christian, then you need to begin to realize that you are called to stand for the truth, no matter what happens. It is time to stand up and say, no more immorality, no more sex sells, no more treating women and children as objects to be used and abused. It is time for God to honored again in our society. If you are not willing to stand up and be counted, then don’t ask God to bless American, he is not going to bless this nation until we turn from our sin and again bless God with our way of life.

It is a new year, where are you going to be? Will you stand for truth, will you stand for God, or will you suck up to those who will tell you what you want to hear and go the way of death and destruction. Your Choice!
