The last time we heard this Ronald Reagan was President, the Democrats promised that they would make sure the borders were protected and, amnesty was granted to millions of illegal immigrants. Please note we now have somewhere between 10 and 20 million new criminals, sorry illegal immigrants, in our country. The bill reeks of democrat lies about closing the border, in exchange of what amounts to another round of Amnesty.
So now we get Mark Levin and the Heritage Foundation, suggesting that we have a debate between conservatives in regard to immigration. Who do we see as the pro immigration reform debate team? Jeb “Liberal” Bush, Paul “Moderate” Ryan, along with Chris “Opportunist” Christie. Then throw in Marco “Conservative????” Rubio just for a little salsa and what do we have? It is not a debate with conservatives on both sides, it is a debate with Rubio the turncoat, Christie the flip flopper, Paul Ryan who is no conservative he is a MODERATE RINO and Jeb Bush a decidedly liberal member of the Bush family.
The suggestion is that these guys will go up against, Ed Meese a decidedly OLD man who has been out of touch for years and was Atty Gen under Ronald Reagan. Heather MacDonald, not exactly a household name, Senator Ted Cruz or Jeff Sessions. Now I like Sessions, but I like Cruz a lot better, he is a real debater. Let’s replace Heather MacDonald with someone with real credentials, someone who has been in the trenches like say, Monica Crowley, that is one tough lady and a good debater as well.
Instead of Ed Meese why not Judge Napolitano, that guy is really good, knows the Constitution, and is able to hold his own in a knock down drag out debate. Take off the kid gloves and destroy the liberals who want only to fill the ranks of the democratic party in time of the next Presidential election, you know the one with Hillary Clinton running for President. I don’t know about you, but I just can’t see Bill Clinton back in the White House. I understand that there are quite a few cubby holes there too, never know there might be an intern or three to keep him occupied.
Now I do admit that we need to upgrade our immigration policy, doing away with amnesty in all its horrid little iterations. It is time for true reform. It is time for us to actually close the border with Mexico, make those who would enter this country have to show that they are legitimate and have no ulterior motives against our country. At one point in time it took 14 years to get your citizenship, and you had to prove you really loved this country, and wanted to be here instead of anywhere else. You know that if you enter Mexico illegally and are caught, you spend time in a Mexican prison, and if you are lucky you get to return to your own country some day. So let us cut all the BS about human rights, how about my rights to live in my country without people cutting my fences and killing my goats so they can have a meal on my ranch with a camp fire.
