An Oyster Farm that has existed for 100 years is now going to be shut down because of Ken Salazar Secretary of the Interior has listened to Environmental Activists and not to actual Scientists. The Drakes Bay Oyster Farm will be closed down and the workers be out of work. Salazar made the decision based on phony data. Here is a video that shows the lengths that the Federal Government will go to shut down a viable business. This is environmental destruction by the Interior Department and the National Park Service. This will not help the environment, it will probably cause more harm, just as the National Park already has done to the seals by allowing humans into their habitat inside the wilderness area. They blamed it on the oyster farm but the proof shows that it had nothing to do with the oyster farm.
The people who had the lease and were running the farm were told they would have another 40 year lease if they would make some changes to the farm, they agreed, now they can’t get permits approved to do the improvements. It really is sickening because the Park Service recognized the Lunney family as being excellent stewards of the land just a few years ago, now they are considered polluters and they Interior Department says they will file criminal charges against them which will drive them into bankruptcy. The Federal Government is no longer a beneficial government, it is no longer protecting the rights of the people, it is instead becoming the Jackbooted brownshirts of this generation. Watch out, they will come for you and me next.

Hostess wants to pay out 1.8 million in bonus money to the people who drove the company into bankruptcy in the first place. Now I don’t know about y’all but it seems to me that since these people were the dummy’s who drove the company into the ditch they really should be paying the Company for the privilege of not going to prison. Oh, that’s right you can’t send them to jail for being stupid.
I am amazed, first that the company would have the temerity to ask the court to approve this, and second that the court might actually approve it. When a company enters bankruptcy, the shareholders lose everything. Why should the people who brought the company to this place be rewarded for their inability to manage the company properly? Now, I have to say, I do not now, nor have I ever owned shares in Hostess, I did in GM before the Gov’t screwed the shareholders and bondholders, as well as a number of dealers and employees of companies that were dependent on GM. Yet here we are, a company goes into bankruptcy and expects to keep the executives it has to help it manage the proceedings, and asks to give them bonus payments. WHY?
I note that K-Mart went into bankruptcy a number of years ago, came out of it in decent shape then bought Sears with the money they managed to make out of the bankruptcy proceedings. BTW, their management is not doing very well now either, but perhaps they too will reap bonuses from the company as it moves into the cellar.
I do not own any of these shares either, never thought it was a good investment and stayed away from it. I have made enough investment mistakes, but not these anyway. Well, I am writing this as my second entry in my blog today, simply because this is a busy Friday and well I happen to be a bit angry at what I see our nation becoming. More on that will follow.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein seems to think it would be a good idea to move prisoners from Quantanamo Bay facilities into the United States.Personally, I think that is a terrible idea but then I seem to be in the minority on this one. The President wants to close our facility in Cuba and the Senator wants to help him do so. From Quantanamo to US. I think though that there is a perfect location for this particular move, it will only take a few million of the next stimulous package to fix the place up, it is called Alcatraz. It is in the Senators home state which should grant her a bunch of points with her constituents and keep the rest of the country out of this particular fight.
One thing I do not understand is why these folks want to bring people to the U. S. who they know want only the destruction of our nation. It is really amazing to me that they want them tried as regular criminals, not as the destructive, hate filled people they truly are, these are terrorists, they are not citizens of this country, they deserve to be tried, and when that is over, shot preferrably with bullets dipped in pig blood. However, the people of the United States have spoken, they re-elected the president, and the Senate is still controlled by the likes of Harry “hate all conservatives” Reid. Thank God we didn’t lose the house of we could be in real trouble.
If you agree with Ms. “Call me Senator” Feinstein, well I guess that is your right to do so, but I think we are begging for trouble. If you agree with me, thank you, I do appreciate that.

Read a column today about the latest hate speech from the Democrats. It seems that the Republicans in the house who signed the letter about Ambassador Rice are RACISTS. You see they are not opposed to Susan Rice because she lied and obfuscated about the death of 4 people in Benghazi, one of them was our Ambassador. No they said that it was because she was a black woman. You can read Bernard Goldberg’s column here.
I really was hoping that now that the election is over and the President has been re-elected the hate speech would end. Sorry, but that is not to be, because these folks want to destroy anyone who gets in the way of what they want. Well sorry you bigoted Democrats but here is the truth. SHE LIED about people being killed in Benghazi, 5 news shows on one Sunday morning. She knew the facts, so did the White House, but still they sent her out to lie about what happened in Libya, because she was the President’s protector on that day. It is a shame that these Democrats can’t argue on the facts of the matter so they call names and try to defeat them by stating hateful lies. That does seem to be the modus operandi these days in Washington D. C..
